Acceleration Bay is pleased to announce the patented Edge Video Broadcasting Network is Live with an initial 100 end points. As of the February 3rd, 2020 the network had already broadcast 3.8 terabytes of data.

The Edge Video Broadcasting network can facilitate unlimited numbers of broadcast channels, enabling enormous scale and significant network bandwidth(egress) cost reductions.

Edge Video takes a stream from a device on the Internet and is able to receive the video stream and re-transmit the video from the edge user leveraging unused upload capacity. The technology uses a stream chunking and reconstruction technology on the edge to manage the re-transmission. Typically, re-transmission may only be 1/4 of the video frames received. 

Edge Video is targeted at the emerging 5G Mobile Video market, where data speeds on the network and the devices eclipse the capability of the cloud.

Acceleration Bay Announces Impact Learning Program with FoodWaterShelter
